Every Wednesday and Saturday, there’s a traditional market at the place Charles De Gaulle in Hagetmau.
Farmers’ market the third Saturday of every month. Chalosse gourmet specialties. Place de la République from 9 am to 1 pm.

Hagetmau
Every August, Hagetmau begins its annual celebration to the rhythm of festive banda music. Popular entertainment, a "course landaise" (cow dodging and leaping), and the region’s best dodgers and leapers, a beccerada, a bolsin (international competition between bullfighting schools), deux novillada bullfights with picadors and one novillada without picadors.
There’s the Grande Cavalcade on Saturday (parade with floats, bandas and festival cars). You can also attend Children’s Day and the Landes Day (journée landaise) highlighted by an agricultural show.
Hagetmau - Furniture Capital
For over a century, Hagetmau has developed its chair and furniture manufacturing know-how and rich heritage which have made it the Chair Capital of France.
Held every year, the end of October in the halls of the Rotonde and covered market, "Hagetmau, the Chair Capital" allows the general public to learn about this tradition. A showcase of local businesses, this major event combines an exhibition with the top names in furniture manufacturing, an art contest, live entertainment in town, a huge free raffle, and discount sales at some of the furniture manufactures and workshops.
With about 10,000 visitors, "Hagetmau, the Chair Capital" has become a major economic and cultural event for Hagetmau and its region.
Floralies d’Automne (Autumn Flower Show)
The end of November in the halls of the Rotonde and covered market, nursery owners, gardeners, florists, gardening and environmental clubs display the most beautiful varieties of plants and flowers. The event also brings together bookshop owners, second-hand book sellers, and artists. During the day, the public can attend workshops, meet collectors, attend exhibitions, etc.
